So what better to do on a dreary day at Ocean Isle Beach than go hunting for shells. While much of the family hunted and pecked through piles of shells, we were also in awe of what was left of the beach. The beach house I remember going to as a kid was originally 3rd row. Now, it’s gone and the road it was on is underwater. There was still evidence of houses, asphalt and other oddities on the beach so camera in hand I decided to take some shots. This is just the stuff I thought was interesting on the beach. Enjoy.
